Meet our Management Team:
Mixon Music was officially established in January 2015. As a music teaching company, our staff has a long history with the business. Each teacher is a trained, professional musician. Each member of our recording team is expertly qualified. Our Summer Camp director has 20 years of children’s theatre camp experience. Every client/student has the benefit of our combined musical experience. We have extensive communication, both with our clients and with each other. We also strive to give our students performing opportunities at bi-annual recitals and summer camp. Check it out! We look forward to working with you!
Rachel Howe Mixon is the head of our group of teachers, and director of our summer camp program. Each teacher specializes in a different area of musicality. Joshua Mixon : (Co-Owner and Hiring Manager) During successful careers in both the Coast Guard and the world of Consumer Products, Joshua learned the value of a well-run company. When Rachel and Josh got married in 2014, he saw the potential for expansion and added his ideas and support to what she has been building. Mixon Music is a new venture, with a talented team. Managed by the married duo, with new teachers and online services, Mixon Music is here to provide the best learning environment for you, your children, and all of Los Angeles!
